My name is Teena Mobley and I am 22 years old. I am from Long Island, New York. I recently graduated from Long Island University located in Brooklyn, New York where I have received my bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. I also obtained my Associate degree in Business Administration at Monroe College located in New Rochelle, New York. I have 3 older sisters and two young brothers as well as a nephew and a niece.
I have been living with Cystic Fibrosis since the age of 11 years old. At first, I was misdiagnosed with asthma.
Throughout my life I have also played sports. I started off as a varsity basketball player at North Babylon High School then started running track. My greatest accomplishments include being an all-American track athlete, jumping 19 feet 6 inches in the long jump, being a Division 1 track athlete and competing at the Penn relays.
During my college years I have received high honors and been inducted into the Alpha Eta honor society and the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society. On my free time, I love to play sports, work out and travel.
My goal is to be a role model for others and to inspire others to not limit themselves-you can join me on Redefining Life - Cystic Fibrosis
