Catalan creativity and surrealistic creations from the famous Chef-Trio
The name of their two restaurants says it all: ‘DISFRUTAR’, ‘enjoy’- in Barcelona, and ‘COMPARTIR’, ’share’- in Cadaqués. For their avant-garde ‘food on the edge’ with strong Mediterranean roots they have received two Suns in the Repsol Guide, a Michelin Star (2015), the Best New European Restaurant Award (2016), the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ Award by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy and Nutrition, and the ‘Culinary Innovation Award ‘(2015).
The three sympathetic chefs met in an other gastronomic temple, “el Bulli”, the restaurant of the inventor of “molecular cuisine”, Ferran Adria. “We still carry the DNA of 'el Bulli' in us”, say the chefs, “and the most important is to love what you do, to love the food, and be together”.
The prestigious Opinionated About Dining (OAD) ranked them on the first place in 2016 for “the combination of types of parlour tricks, sleight of hand and surrealistic creations”.
