Front raises [3 sets of 15]

Forward shoulder circles [20 or more] backward shoulder circles [20 ormore]

Bicep curls with resistance band [3 sets of as many as you can do] Chair triceps dips [3 sets of 10]

Bed or wall push-ups [3 sets of10]

 

Workout 2

Ab crunches (in bed or on floor) [3 sets of 15-20]

Bed or wall push-ups [3 sets of 10]

Bodyweight squats (use your IV pole for balance) [1 set of 10]

Calf raises [3 sets of15]

 

 

Workout 3

Bodyweight walking lunges [2 sets of 10]

Bicep curls [2 sets of10]

Bed or Wall push-ups [3 sets of 10]

Ab crunches (on bed or floor) [3 sets of 20]

 

 

Do the exercises at your own pace. And be sure to keep drinking down those calories between meals. The more, the better. When you are training like this, the food you eat will supply nutrients to the muscles which helps you grow. Stay active!!!!

Do not eat sugary candies while in the hospital. Bad bugs LOVE sweet blood. It gives power to the enemy. Keep the diet clean and you will be healquicker.

  • Bloodwork & Blood Sugarcheck
  • Mask/Neb treatment +Physic
  • Drink 1 Boost/Ensure/Protein drink (take insulin,enzymes)
  • Bodyweight squats (use your IV pole for balance; casual pace; baby steps) [1 set of10]
  • Walk laps on hospital floor (1-3 laps at first to determine your current strength and build from there)
  • Eat breakfast (note: write down on your meal menus "requires x2 of everything; extra calories for patient with cystic fibrosis". Now you will have 2 of everything on your tray)
  • Using 2 water bottles or Boost/Ensure bottles, resistance bands, do the following workout:
