Disposable surgical masks, also known as a procedure mask, are intended to be worn to catch the bacteria shed in liquid droplets and aerosols from the wearer's mouth and nose.

They are common security gadgets to wear CF clinics in order to limit the possibility of cross infection between CF-patients and other patients.

Although they are effective, they have a limited live span and lose their protecting abilities after 30 minutes of use.

So keep in mind to take frequently a new mask!

Do not take a mask off and on again- once taken off, use a new on!
